THE RULES
1. Terms
All works created in communities, socio-educational centres, day or residential centres, institutions and structures for people with disabilities or specific projects for people with disabling pathologies can participate in the competition. Projects created by schools are also allowed, as long as they respect all the articles of the regulation. The Films must have how to interpret people with disabilities whose presence is fundamental and predominant in the film.
In the event that the Opera is not organized and directed by the same institutions, structures and other entities mentioned (but for example by independent directors or production companies), it is necessary to indicate in advance, at the time of registration, the center to which the prize will be donated.
2. Categories
The competition has three categories:
Short
Maximum duration allowed 15 minutes, including opening and closing credits.
Very short films/videoclips
Maximum duration allowed 5 minutes, including opening and closing credits.
Documentary
Free duration.
Shorts and Short Films are distinguished from documentaries in that they are short fictions that tell real or fictional stories, parodies of successful films or representations of historical novels.
It is also important that the presence of people with disabilities in videos is prevalent, and it is rewarding that they are numerous.
3. Registration form
To participate it is necessary to fill out the participation.
It is important to provide all the requested information in detail, attaching, if possible, at least two photographs of the film. Incomplete submissions will automatically preclude admission to the competition.
4. Consent to data processing
Sending data relating to the initiative in question and photos constitutes explicit authorization to the collection, processing and free disclosure of the data itself and to their use for the promotion of the Festival, in accordance with Legislative Decree d.lgs.101/2018 (GDPR – EU Reg 679/2016).
5. Methods and specifications for the delivery of the films
The works must be submitted by uploading them on the form on this page. Any other means of submission will automatically lead to exclusion from the competition. The works must be submitted in one of the most common video formats (mp4, MOV, Flv, Avi, Mkv, etc.) and must not exceed 3 Gigabytes. If a work should be selected among the finalists, we reserve the right to contact the authors to request a version of it at an optimal resolution for projections.
6. Acceptance of the Film
Simply sending the Work does not guarantee participation in the Festival, but must be explicitly selected by the organizers. The authors of the works selected as finalists will be contacted by the secretariat, which will communicate the date on which their film will be screened.
7. Archiving
